I had an apparition of Vukovar and I took a walk for a few
    streets -
around the block - with my hands frozen - up to the tobacco shop
and on returning I thought so that's the way they used

How to become a member

Slovene PEN centre is member of International PEN. Every member of Slovene PEN is automatically member of the International PEN allowing the members a direct access to all the activities of all the PEN centres around the world.


Every writer, poet, essayist, playwriter, critic, translator, editor enjoying good reputation for his work and agrees to the Charter of the Slovene PEn as well as of International PEN can become a member. The member is elected by a secret voting by the Board members.

The new member signs the PEN Charters and gets a Membership card.
